New Family Home Donated by Drexel’s Little Chute Team
Valery, age 17, lived in an orphanage for eight years. Mr. Lovelas, Valery’s father, lives in Camp-Perrin in a locality called Daudier. Mr. Lovelas lives with his six children and his wife Yvelia Dominique.
The parents do not have the ability to read and write. Mr. Lovelas is the only one in the household who has any economic activity capable of providing for the needs of the family, with an income of no more than 3,000 gourdes ($46) each year.
The family would like to rebuild their house that was destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.
